Big Idea Thesis: Body Works
Students spend weeks gathering evidence about the body and how the body works as a complete system. At the end of the unit, students were assigned to groups to collaboratively analyze and compile the evidence gathered throughout the unit of study. Students were able to see where they still had misconceptions and holes in their understanding. They were allowed to gather more evidence before they wrote their big idea thesis.
